From the NPR report about autism:
(my bold)
The Department of Health and Human Services said in a statement on Wednesday that the NIH would team up with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) to create the database utilizing insurance claims, electronic medical records and data from wearable devices with health sensors, like smartwatches.
DH uses his smartwatch like it's his personal GP - tracking/monitoring all sorts of health stuff... I am completely the opposite and refuse to have a wearable device monitoring me. I do realise I'm being monitored in many other ways by my phone/computer etc but I don't willingly give extra information about myself.
This is what they wanted isn't it? Access to information that can be used to grade you and/or police you as 'useful' citizens... Diabetes readings, menstrual and pregnancy tracking, blood pressure readings, heart rates, blood test results, medications taken etc etc. ...all starting with databases of disabilities.
