DD 4.5 received 3 large easter eggs and about 8 mini ones (egg hunt size) for easter.

Its now 2 weeks later and 2 full size ones and 7 of the mini ones still remain. After the initial interest in them shes not asked about easter chocolate for about a week and a half. When is it acceptable for me to eat them? Or do I just have to sit and look at them for months ubtil they're inedible, or am I meant to remind her of them?

Chocolate keeps a long time, just ration it and let her have the chocolate she was given.
If there was an adult in the same situation would you take their chocolate??

Yes

Eat it if you want, but can’t you just let your child eat it over the coming months?
