CV for a Saturday job (teen with SEN)

Is it normal to give a CV for a basic saturday jobs these days and if so what goes in them when you aren't doing gcses etc.

Or is it better to just speak to the owners of suitable businesses.

My son thinks he could manage a paper round or pot washing type of role.

For a Saturday job yes absolutely, for a paper round no. He can still put his skills on there, where he has obtained his education. Maybe personalise with a small cover letter for why he’d be good at the job

I'm a bit concerned his school might put people off as its a special school.

But he has a few practical skills gained at school.

A cover letter is a good idea..
