Is there such a thing? I would like to drink something cool in the evening, which is all of these things. What do you drink?I like iced tea but not without sugar.

Bottlegreen ginger and elderflower cordial hits the spot!

Or fresh lemon juice in water.

JesusOnAYamaha · 01/05/2025 22:16

Mint tea (brewed with leaves), chilled, with ice and pomegranate juice (and a few mint leaves if you're feeling fancy).

Light roasted decafe iced/cold brew coffee, needs no sugar or cream/milk imo.

Seedlip!
I also love kombucha!

JaneFondue · 01/05/2025 22:22

Wow thanks for all the suggestions. I drink a lot of water already.
I remembered that I love coconut water and it's good for me. Also I have never tried Kombucha. Now might be the time.

Grow a lemon balm plant in a pot. I have one, I pick leaves every day, and make tea with it. I also freeze the leaves in ice cubes.

These Dash fruity waters got me through pregnancy and I still love them! In usual supermarkets.

Ah, it's what I know as sticky weed. Never heard it called Sticky Willy, nor did I know it could be consumed. I've learned something today.

I have always known it as sticky weed. Dh calls it goose grass, like a weirdo!

Also vote for kombucha.

IReallyLoveItHere · 01/05/2025 22:33

I struggle with this too. Don't like fizz, don't want to drink heaps of sugar.

Iced water with lemon and lime juice (bottled from the baking section) is nice.

I like kombucha but it's hard to find unsweetened ones.

Also like cranberry juice but that's got added sugar.

Sticky Willy water? You need to make it yourself.

I thought this was going to be a penis beaker joke!

The leftfield one I like isn't flavoured - just made from tea and sugar. It's the flavours like raspberry I can't stand.

My other half is constantly suggesting that I drink his sticky willy water, but as he well knows it's birthday, Christmas, Valentine's and anniversary only 🤷🏻‍♂️

Kombucha - but make your own. You can thenmake the flavours you like best with different fruits, herbs, spices. It fills that gap of a cold soft drink with a bit of complexity in the flavour without being sweet and bland.

beetr00 · 01/05/2025 23:12

@JaneFondue do you like blackcurrant?

EconomyClassRockstar · 01/05/2025 23:15

Chuck some fresh watermelon and basil into a jug/pitcher and leave it in the fridge for 24 hours. Remove the watermelon and basil and drink on ice. I LOVE a good infused water.

Isn't homemade kombucha alcoholic?! I thought that was the whole point! I dunno, I don't drink any kombucha anymore as it is pretty much the only thing that just gives me massive indigestion.

TheHerboriste · 01/05/2025 23:19

Tomato juice.

KateShugakIsALegend · 01/05/2025 23:22

Hip pop kombucha

Lovely

I can't drink the stuff you get in eg M& S without getting indigestion but the stuff I get from leftfield actually settles my stomach. I don't know if it's to do with the flavourings - leftfield has 4 varieties but it's just different teas, not added flavours.

Kombucha is just fermented tea - its not alcoholic. If its giving you indigestion that suggests there is something wrong with it or the cause was another food stuff. Making your own is more reliable.

Mint, cucumber & lime iced water

Flozle · 02/05/2025 18:46

Bird and blend fruit tea, cold brewed. Recommend the cherry cola bottles flavour.

CalicoPusscat · 02/05/2025 18:59

Loads of infused water.

This one might be too sweet for you, but stem ginger in syrup (plain stem ginger?), slices of lime, lots of ice and water

Dollmeup · 02/05/2025 19:06

Fancy cordial

JellyNellyKat · 02/05/2025 19:17

Hydrogen Dioxide for definite

WhineAndWine1 · 02/05/2025 19:30
