VE 80 Celebrations

Is anyone planning anything? I haven’t heard of any local events although I’m sure there are. I’ve just broken my arm so not sure I’ll be doing a lot. I have a very smart pin badge to wear. There’s bound to be a concert on the BBC. They do these things so well.

Our village has a fete planned, so I'm sure we will go to that. Hopefully the weather is nice!

We live in a long cul-de-sac. Previously similar events, the eight houses at the top have accepted everyone gets together there, but two properties have new owners. I need to chat with a few other residents, but thought if we all bring our own chair, drinks and food for ourselves and sit near ours (mid-way) we could quickly move if anyone wants access.
