Sunshine comes out... and so do the perverts

The age old question... How do you deal with horrible lechery in relation to teenage girls?

DD and her mates (younger teens) have ENDLESSLY AND REPEATEDLY had horrible experiences in the last few weeks, since wearing shorts etc in the sunshine. Varying between horrible but usual (honking car horns, leering) to fucking creepy (man following them around the park; man taking pictures).

I don't want DD to consider the world dangerous - she's already an anxious type - so don't want to restrict her activities, but should I? How TF are we meant to deal with this? What do others do?

I found that this type of behaviour stopped when I was about 20 for the most part. Which is horrifying. There are more perverts who fancy kids out there than anyone imagines.

When you say ‘men’ can you be more specific?

The amount of men usually between 35- 70 ish I've witnessed ogling my dd since she was probably about 10 is f@@@ing sick .. I'll never forget getting out of a taxi with my dd who was about 10 at the time and the creepiest evilest looking of all men aged about 70 with another man aged about mid forties stood in the taxi queue...as we walked past them the older man gave such an evil stare at my dd up and down and obviously said something to the man with him as he turned to look at my daughter too
As we passed them I turned around and they were both turned around ogling my little girl up and down..they looked everything like an evil presence it really unnerved me and I knew no child would be safe near them ..hope they rot

Late last year I saw a group of men stood outside a hotel in our town eyes on stalks staring at dd now aged 15 and turning to stare at her bum.. walked close behind her to block their view and shouted out dirty f&&&ing bastards..they never blinked an eye

The photo-taker will have moved on by now (he was a member of the travelling community, who had parked up in the local park, but the council will have now moved them on). Does this make it less likely the police will follow it up if reported?
