Royal Mail special delivery mistake

I posted some really important documents via Royal mail special delivery yesterday. The tracking number says the recipient refused to accept delivery and they will be returned to sender, but I didn't have a return address on. On closer inspection, they have written the wrong number on the receipt so they've tried to deliver to the wrong address. I assume it will be sent back to the post office. I sent it from. Their address is on the receipt. Does anyone know whether they will send it back the next day or whether it will take longer? I can't get through to anyone at Royal Mail.

I am unsure you could call the customer service number to see if there is an option to speak to someone,there is a number on the receipt. I have a problem with an item sent recorded delivery with important documents and it hasn’t moved from the post office in 7 days but no one can tell me where it is frustrating.
