We all know the script “tall dark & handsome”

like all the princes in the Disney films

but what is your ACTUAL type?

OP posts:
Hoydenish · 28/04/2025 23:46

Captain Picard in TNG.

Legolas in the LOTR film trilogy.

K0OLA1D · 29/04/2025 00:00

Oli Sykes

alcoholnightmare · 29/04/2025 00:07

Jason Bateman. I want him to pick me up in a Volvo, take me to a garden centre, and then mow the lawn whilst I cook dinner

BobbyBiscuits · 29/04/2025 00:11

I do like tall men. 6'2 plus.
Quite skinny. Not into gym bods or body builder types at all.
I tend to like Scottish/Irish/N. European / mixed race looking men, usually with darker hair rather than blonde or red.
Long hair is nice. No baldness please?!
I prefer brown or green eyes to blue or grey.
High cheek bones, nice snatched jaw. Not hairy, but not waxed! So if they're naturally hairy I'd rather they just shaved pubes but left other bodily hair.
Not hairy back though. Back hair is wrong! Lol

Actually, it's what's inside that counts innit. 😂

mepipesneedlagging · 29/04/2025 00:28

What's yours OP?

ForeverTipsy · 29/04/2025 00:38

I genuinely don't have one. Dated a lot in my 20s and fancied tall, short, slim, chunky, fair or dark, different nationalities etc. I really do fancy guys who make me laugh, are good listeners, decent and if there's chemistry.

HeyCooper · 29/04/2025 00:39

Muscular or chubby, likely dark, possibly curly. Humour and sound morals essential .

i don’t know

Flytrap01 · 29/04/2025 00:42

Is that a joke 😂 you want your boyfriend to have curves and a massive bum

each to their own,

Bourbonbonbon · 29/04/2025 00:45

Slight with cheekbones and reasonably muscular arms. Not that tall.

LoserWinner · 29/04/2025 00:48

Someone who can beat me at Scrabble, and who thinks the Guardian prize crossword is a good way to spend a Saturday afternoon.

BigCheese24 · 29/04/2025 08:02

I’m glad there is such a variety of answers!

I quite like dad bods and big beards
geeky with glasses

we’re all different I guess hahaha

I like my men fit and healthy. A relatively toned body, a good level of fitness and overall health. Apart from that anything goes! Not a big fan of bushy beards or moustaches though.

Random321 · 13/03/2026 12:59

A man who can "get shit done" and can reverse well.

I can't dealt with deep thinking, zen yoga, hippy, overthinking, bad drivers.

The most physically attractive man I ever dated was the latter - absolutely gorgeous but he was an unbelivable bore and sucked the fun out of everything.

ChaToilLeam · 13/03/2026 13:02

Height, hair and eye colour not important, I do like a hairy man though. Beard fine but not a tash on its own. History and music geeks welcome to apply.

Ilovelurchers · 14/03/2026 08:57

I like a bloke who is quite big and chunky - doesn't matter too much if it's muscles or fat (though not dangerously obese, ideally).

But alternative/scruffy looking. I like longiah hair that they can scrape back or leave down.

Tattoos/piercings.

Intelligent, confident without being cocky, unconventional.

Open minded attitude to sex!

GloiredeDijon · 14/03/2026 09:00

Looks don’t do it for me at all. In fact stereotypical pretty boys or muscly men make me a bit suspicious because those I have met are vain and arrogant.

HereComeTheKazoos · 14/03/2026 09:02

I am naturally drawn to slightly nerdy men. Preferably big nose, glasses and on the skinny side. I can appreciate other types but these are the ones I tend to actually want a relationship with. Dh is all of these things.

I also love men who are intelligent in a way I am not, which again, dh is.

VictorianScreenTime · 14/03/2026 09:07

King Fergus from Brave- big, bearded, brave, but a softy with a hearty laugh and no shite about him. (Also Scottish which a man should be if he possibly can).

CMOTDibbler · 14/03/2026 09:08

Physically, thin, slightly androgynous, long hair, penchant for eyeliner and skinny jeans. Well done tattoos.
Mentally, really intelligent, interested in a wide variety of subjects, open minded, loves a good debate

Ginmonkeyagain · 14/03/2026 09:39

Enthusiasm, curiosity, intelligence, lots of interests.

I am also a sucker for an old school seventies style hairy chest. Manscaping is not my thing at all.

Bigearringsbigsmile · 14/03/2026 09:40

Blonde, tall, bit posh. Nice arms.
Funny.

Find tattoos absolutely repulsive so must have clean skin!

Ginmonkeyagain · 14/03/2026 09:41

Ooh capable forearms - definitely a good thing.
