Hi,

I just saw this advertised on Channel 5 and couldn't help but feel very uneasy and it got me thinking, do celebs need to give permission for these kind of documentaries?

I can't imagine she would want this to be aired.

Nope. Not if it’s archive footage and talking heads giving their opinions. Am assuming it’s about her stalker - he’s been jailed and all info is in the public domain. C5 don’t want to be sued - many lawyers will have watched it (and C5 Legals are v risk adverse).

No, you don't need to get their permission to do a documentary about someone.
