Doesn’t she look great ?

Michelle Pfeiffer ? She’s a year older than my mum. Granted my mom seems to have better skin at the same age, but it’s refreshing to see a woman not have a face full of filler ! She is still gorgeous and it’s nice to see she hasn’t succumbed to Hollywood.

She looks great, but she's clearly had filler OP!

Game0fCrones · 27/04/2025 14:51

She's stunning but has clearly had filler and Botox in her frown lines. Very subtle and well done though.

mackawhack · 27/04/2025 14:53

She's clearly had some work but she is beautiful. Someone actually beautiful with a great bone structure will still be beautiful as they get older.

Maitri108 · 27/04/2025 14:57

Would you post the same about a man? Probably not as men are praised for their talent and ability and not their looks as they age.

MsTamborineMan · 27/04/2025 14:57

Michelle pfieffer is clearly a very beautiful woman.

I'm not sure I get the comparison to your mum? No one here knows what your mum looks like

😆 more for me I guess !!
yeah some filler but what I mean is not completely filled, still very natural with her lines etc and hasn’t had a neck lift or anything

Yes actually Paul Rudd looks amazing, doesn’t seem to age !

She looks amazing, but has clearly had good work done and quite a lot of it. She I would do the same if I had the money.

She looks fantastic but I would think she has had things done and has access to the best skincare / treatments and advice

She does look very natural though

This isn't the feminism board so I’m okay, thanks

Winona Ryder is another one ♥️

HideousKinky · 27/04/2025 15:12

I always think of her in the film "Dangerous Liaisons" in which she looks breathtakingly beautiful

It's an open forum and you asked for opinions. You obviously don't give a toss about women being judged for their looks and that's your prerogative.

Why don't you post a picture and we can all judge how good you look for your age?

You’re taking this far too seriously. Chill out, it’s not that deep. It’s appreciating a woman’s beauty, what is your issue ?

There is more to her than how she looks. Talk about that instead. When some Women complain that they are being reduced to just how they look, maybe they should realise that threads like these are all part of that. It is tedious. Good Afternoon.

Houseplantsaresoothing · 27/04/2025 15:26

She is a beautiful woman.

Tbh though although there are character actors who are celebrated and well known she works in an industry where the majority of people's success depends on good looks. So I don't really see why we should be surprised that she looks beautiful.

It's in her interest to do the best she can with what she has. And she has obviously done that. She will be putting a lot of hard work into looking natural.

I just feel very uncomfortable that we are often presented with pictures of older women and expected to be awe struck that they are attractive. The assumption being ageing = ugliness and any older woman who isn't ugly is somehow a rare specimen. And that just isn't the case.

Some of us care about women being judged for their characters, you obviously don't and that's ok.

I don't like how women are pilloried for their looks and made to feel inadequate because they don't look a certain way.

I wouldn't like a picture of me put up on a public forum so people can judge how I've aged and pick over my looks. However you don't mind, so I'll join in when you post your picture, to make you happy.

Oh dear 😆 It’s a crazy world when we can’t compliment other women OR men for how they look. Everyone is so fucking woke these days.

She is a great actress, I love her in Dangerous liaisons and stardust. Grease 2, not a fan but that film is shit all over.

Maybe I should edit the original post to say firstly what a good actress she is, maybe then I can say I also think she is beautiful and love that she isn’t completely plastic like alot of other women in Hollywood, yes even the younger ones.

This is exactly what I'm talking about.

Those women are 'plastic' because they're judged on their looks and feel under pressure to remain youthful to get parts.

You're basically finished in Hollywood unless you're under 30. Women are judged solely on their looks.

You probably criticise young women with all the work they get done. They're copying celebrities and are made to feel insecure due to a billion dollar industry. Some of us want better for women.

I understand that this doesn't bother you but it bothers me. I love film and could talk all day about actors but I tend to be interested in how well they do their jobs.

I notice you haven't posted a picture, I assume that means you would mind strangers judging your looks.

I think it is just a way for people just offload their general anger in what they think is a legitimate way…..most woke people are very angry people

I’ll have you know it’s not just women who feel pressure to get work done to stay relevant, men in Hollywood also have work done ! How very sexist of you not considering them
