If you earn more than 100k, what do you do

Yes I know are lots of these threads if search but want to have a conversation if possible.

im early forties and work for a local council. No real line of progression for me. Skills include project management and accounting.
Earn 60k.

please share what you do in hope I’m not too late for a transition this point in my career!

Why is there no progressiob. On that Salary, depending on where you are based you must be either a programme manager or a Head of. Surely AD is where you’re looking. On the outer London pay scales the starting point is £93k I think and going through to about £105. If there’s nothing in your council then look at other ones

Take those skills and experience to a private company - maybe construction, i surance etc. you’d probably earn a lot more.

Law. It takes a long time to qualify and I honestly don’t think it’s worth the cost anymore.
