Not usually on tills but covered for a break. Customer approaches with 4 items (plants) 2 of which had red reduced stickers, which give description/original price/reduced price.
On further inspection, there was no way one item was reduced (it was a fresh delivery and in perfect condition) I pointed this out as well as it not fitting the description and she said “it was on the sale rack with the others”….
I pealed off the sticker and offered it to her at full price only, apologies but no way a reduction. Needless to say, she rejected it but couldn’t look me in the eyes either.
it was £6.99 but she tried it on for £1.74!
CF or what, yet must happen a lot..
