It’s unusual for pigs and dogs to have only one piglet or puppy in a litter. So where are the others?!!

Littermates don't grow up together though. They will be living their best lives with their new families elsewhere. A seemingly less high profile existence for a more peaceful life. The parents possibly stay in touch via social media to compare photos and personality traits and meet for the odd summer walk to socialise them.

I had the exact same thought yesterday when I heard mummy pig is having a new baby and a gender reveal in Battersea power station.. I thought, how unusual for mummy pig to have 3 singletons in a row. Like a human have 3 lots of multiples back to back.

Maybe the siblings went to live at the bacon factory on a farm.....

I thought it was sometimes the case that the runts of the litter ended up being eaten by the mother? It’s a possibility…
