Just posting to see if I’m the only one who has had this issue. Signed up to vinted last night with the hope of posting clothing items over the course of the week. All done, account active. However, I went to log back in today and I’ve been banned without having used the site! Seems a little odd, I didn’t purchase or list anything…just wondering if anyone else has been banned from websites without any knowledge of why?

just to add, I have submitted an appeal and it can take up to 120 hours for someone to reply 🫤

Not Vinted but something similar happened to me when I tried to leave an Amazon review years ago. Very frustrating but it did get resolved eventually. No apology from Amazon though!

it will be an algorithm glitch.

I was banned from ebay. Somebody on here asked if I had VPN as that could cause clich.

It happened to me, I'd been on a few weeks, bought a few things, not sold anything and they banned me. I appealed it and a couple of days later they reinstated my access, still no idea why though!

Thank you for the replies, I’ve used my phone so no one else uses it. Also no VPN…I was quite excited about potentially selling a few items to get the decluttering ball rolling 😂

I got banned last year too and have no idea why. Had only bought one item and had one up for sale. Never managed to get a proper answer from them. Very frustrating.

Vinted is very badly run by bots in many aspects. There will be something that has triggered an algorithm and the response you've received. You then get stuck in a "computer says no" loop until you get lucky and an actual person looks at things and can resolve it for you.

Just thought I’d update, I received a reply stating after investigating they had unblocked my account and were sorry for the inconvenience caused.
I’ve managed to list a few items now 🤣
