Peri menopausal moods

Does anyone else get in really low bad moods if you are peri or in menopause. I get them around twice a month and I hate it.
i don’t want to do anything, talk to anyone and am just generally in a foul mood. Lasts around 2 days maybe 3 at a time.
i literally want to rip the head of anyone who wants to talk to me!
please tell me im not the only one and does anyone have any miracle cures they found that fixed it?

This was my ex manager, I left. The entitlement to the abusive moods was more rude than the actual moods. Your perimenopause doesn't trump other people's entitlement to quiet, calm space.

I m perimenopausal too, I find walking helps. I m avoiding people who trigger me.

@countrysidefields I have just posted my own thread about this too, so you’re not alone. Although, I don’t think I’m peri but the moods I experience are something else.

I could easily pack up and move to a remote island somewhere leaving everyone behind. It’s awful. I have found some mild success with evening primrose oil, if taken at a time when I can feel my mood slipping.

I was after some understanding and help, I never said my moods are more important than other peoples did I

Thank you, right now a remote island sounds like heaven! I will read into primrose oil.

Absolutely relate to the feeling of wanting to murder people! It's horrible and really unsettling. HRT took a little while to kick in but has sorted the problem for me. Generally taking care of yourself (sleep, exercise, good nutrition, hydration) also important
