ADHD medication headaches

Does this sound like a side effect or bad timing and a bug?
Started on 10mg Meflynate XL for a week no headache
Moved to 20mg and for a week no headache
Moved to 30mg for 1 day and shocking headache.
Moved back to 20mg and headache remains. Not sure what to do before having a review appointment.

Two of my children are on ADHD medication and have never suffered the side effect of a headache. I’d be inclined to look elsewhere for a cause.

Can I ask what they take and how much?

One is on 72mg Concerta, and the other 50mg Tyvense. They are young adults, but have been on high doses since they were a lot younger.
