What shoes to wear with scamp and dude dress

What shoes would you wear with this dress for evening. I have black cross over block heels but was thinking maybe silver - want to look trendy. I also have bright orange block heel sandals??

No, it’s just what I have at the moment. I can’t wear to high a heel x

I have a similar S&D dress and I usually wear it with my Charlie shoes from Esska, which aren't a million miles away from the ones in your picture. I think both black and silver would look nice, or maybe gold? Orange isn't a bad shout either, I'd probably go with a bright pink but I have the fashion sense of Noel Fielding crossed with a toddler who dressed herself so may not be the best person to take advice from.

I’d wear the orange as I like A Surprising Shoe and the silver, while very nice, are a bit ‘holiday’ and I don’t think meet your ambition to look trendy.

I do have silver shoes which fit my Surprising Shoe vibe, but they are a bit more edgy than sandals.

It is a lovely dress and you look great in it. Either the black or the silver would look fine in my opinion, but I think the silver is a bit more glam. I wouldn’t go for a bright, clashing colour.

Mine are very nearly flat (with a barely 2cm block heel) and pointed toe. Sling backs. I like them with cropped trousers/jumpsuits or midi dresses.

Mary Janes are having a moment, you could consider those?
