I may have found cure for existential crisis…

My research is based on a modest sample of two (DD and I) - our early findings suggest that many garden varieties of personal drama, predominantly feelings based (loss of professional confidence, feeling ugly, failure to feel joy and motivation, extreme anger with partner) in females of reproductive age can be cured with a hearty meal. In emergency, two hot buttery toasts with a lovely cup of tea can provide temporary relief.

This follows earlier testimonials from Joan Collins’s mates in the documentary for Snickers.

I am curious to expand the study to a more representative sample, and selfishly patent the cure. Please share your experiences to help collect valuable data, help humanity and facilitate my early retirement.

Exercise
Fresh air
days out with my children
seeing old friends

not a buttery slice of toast in sight (in fact would leave me feeling a bit bleurgh!)

My Dh and I were discussing all the worst arguments we’ve had…in a light hearted way, the common denominator was always hunger or being tired (me that one more than him).

I’ve learnt that when he’s irritating me that a snack and or a tea will unfailingly make him less irritating and me less irritated by him. His first wife often tells me they’d still be together if she’d cracked that one….though she’s much happier they aren’t.

good luck in your business endeavour.

It depends on the time of day
Morning , Hot butter toast and >>whispers<< marmite with a strong coffee
Afternoon, chip buttie and coffee
Evening, cheese crackers and cider .

Sunshine and fresh air at any time of the day .

Going for a run, or attacking my ‘weedy building site’ garden with a mattock.
