Why don’t you ask chat got for specific links to apartments or flights with availability in those places which meet your budget?

Caspianberg · 23/04/2025 05:30

Yes about that.

Assuming £250 a night accommodation in a 2 bed apartment (£2500). If you stay slightly outside main areas then it’s definitely possible.

£1500 - 4 flights to Venice. Should be fine with budget airline.

StarlightLady · 23/04/2025 05:39

Use an established booking site and apply the filters to fit your requirements.

Watch for any hidden extras. Non optional extras such as cleaning fee, admin fee etc should now be included in the price but it is not always the case.

Ask a travel agent?

What about travel between south of France and Venice?

Caspianberg · 23/04/2025 07:36

@Fizbosshoes - op only asked for accommodation and flights.
But drive. Northern Italy to southern France is fine with car.
Car hire around £250 a week - so £350?

the accommodation might be £220 and not 250 a night. Just saying it’s possible ( we have rented similar for £180-200)

TheCountofMountingCrispBags · 23/04/2025 08:08

Why not ask a travel agent? Or goigle?
Bit too niche for someone to have done same thing who may know price.

jetlag92 · 23/04/2025 08:34

Anything from 2k to 80k I should imagine!

StarlightLady · 23/04/2025 08:37

The issue is going to be getting from southern France to Venice. It’s a huge region. You can fly from Marseilles to Venice in around 4 hours but you need to get to Marseilles airport first.

Train!

titchy · 23/04/2025 08:54

But agree all possible for £1000pp. We’re doing a similar 3 destination holiday (3 flights, one train), and have just managed 10 nights for £1000 each.

BitOutOfPractice · 23/04/2025 08:56

Would you like us to drive you to the airport as well op? 😆

Don’t want to be too outing but 2 cities (fly to one, train to the second) in Northern Europe then fly from city 2 to beach in Spain.

Caspianberg · 23/04/2025 11:31

It’s about 6 1/2 hour drive from Venice to Nice.
leave Early, go via Parma. (About 2 1/2hr from Venice). Explore Parma and lunch. Back on road to Genoa ( again about 2 1/2hr). Stop in Genoa overnight at basic accommodation, dinner and wander in Genoa, explore Genoa in morning, then final 2 1/2 drive to Nice. Gives a nice little road trip to see a few places on route also

Explore Venice with no car. Hire car to head to Nice and so you have flexibility of staying slightly out centre for better prices. Fly home from Nice

Popquorn · 23/04/2025 11:38

I am doing a week in Dordogne for two adults, self catering - got flights for under £100 each return and cheap accommodation. Priciest part is our car hire, but it’s still under £1000 in total.
