Hello, I’m after ideas for gifts for daughters 18th birthday. Her dad passed away end of last year, I’m overthinking what to get her & I guess to try & make it perfect although I know nothing can replace not having her dad. Thank you in advance for your time in answering me x

What about a locket that opens with a little picture of you and her dad inside?

Everyone here always gets a tree planted for a big birthday/special occasion, but thats because I'm a keen gardener!
My DD is 18, one of her friends has had her bedroom redecorated and styled.
My DD’s main present was a trip to a very posh trendy restaurant with her friends all dressed up like they were off to the Oscar’s.
A trip away somewhere for the two of you.

Maybe something related to her dad? If you have any photos from his youth or maybe childhood pictures you can digitize them and colorize the black and white ones (here is how you do that) and then reprint for an album or a photobook. A locket with a picture inside is an AMAZING idea too, I'd certainly recommend thinking about that as well.
