Hey everyone looking for all sorts of advice and motivation I was doing very well on my weight loss journey starting weight was 185lbs went down to 161lbs in the past 3 months I ended up with a neck injury and for the past week I was eating whatever I wanted kind of gave up and felt sorry for my self my partner with his encouragement explained I’m only human and I’ve worked very hard I can do it just rest and recover so here’s where I am now

since my cheat days I am currently 165.4lbs my goal weight is 147lbs I have a holiday booked for June right at the ending of June can I lose the 20lbs in that time my neck injury has gotten better I’ve done a low impact workout this morning and feel brand new

my strategy’s are:

doing intermittent fasting eating only at 4pm each day high protein fruit veg carbs and even litre low calorie sweet treats my calorie aim are 1200-1400

working out 5 days a week weight lifting and cardio and try to get 10 k steps I’m still trying to receiver from my neck so I’ll take it easy on the weights for a while but will continue with cardio and body weight workouts

what do you guys think

Rather than setting a number you must reach why don't you just do the process. Eat nutritious food, exercise, sleep well, drink water and see what happens by the time your holiday happens?

You're still recovering from an injury so I would be careful not to do so much that you aggrevate that and then have to recover again.

So while it's possible, it's a stretch that allows for no set backs. Plus if you do all this healthy eating and exercise and end up losing some weight and feeling good, well that's still great.

@Scribblydoothank you for this that’s good idea to look at things it’s better to do the right things and then if I achieve good results it’s a plus than worrying and stressing over it I’ll just trust the process and see what happens ❤️

Hi you definitely can I’ve done it 23lbs in 2 months you have to be seriously consistent but please don’t over do it healthy weight loss is between 1-2lbs a week but at the beginning of any weight loss you will drop a little bit more than this because of water weight etc … calorie count , get at least 10-15k steps a day workout 5 days a week include weights and cardio but yes your plan is great good luck on your journey you got this and have great fun on your holiday when it come ❤️❤️❤️❤️
