They both have a miniature egg set each (paw patrol and a unicorn one) im doing a small egg hunt (as with their ages the attention span isn't massively long for a huge one haha!) With mini milky button eggs and I got them a paddington easter egg hunt book

I told family to be lowkey and my mum got them a bag of clothes each which I don't fully mind it was more than I expected haha I made sure she didn't spend loads but its summer stuff so its useful and helpful so im grateful

But have I done enough? We went to a farm egg hunt yesterday and I got them their own egg the book and the mini eggs in the hunt

I should probably log off but we've already got bunny teddies (my daughter has so many) so i didn't get an easter teddy or loads of toys etc? Im starting to feel like i haven't done much

I decorated our house a little for it but my 1yo doesn't get it and my 3yo is excited for the easter bunny for his chocolate eggs - his words!! haha

You've done loads more than me. I gave DD (13 months) a couple of wooden puzzles to keep her occupied over the Easter break given that all the baby groups are on hols. She has absolutely loved them. Im not giving her chocolate but will probably do her a special breakfast tomorrow. She will also get to spend some quality time with her grandad which is rare and the most important thing to me. Savings all the Easter egg hunts, arts and crafts etc. for when she's older.

That sounds like a tonne!

Will they enjoy it, will you enjoy it, and are you doing the actually important things (eg, spending time as a family rather than stressing about decorations)? That’s the only important questions.

So chocolate, chocolate, some clothes, more chocolate, bunnies, yet more chocolate then toys. I suppose you could always tell them what Easter is really about if you’re a big stuck for ideas.
