Normally on easter we have breakfast and then muddle along eating far too much chocolate until the main dinner at dinner time so 6-7 ish. Unfortunately this year we have guests, who I am hoping will bugger off by 3, so dinner is happening at lunch time aiming for 1-1.30, but by the evening people will be wanting something other than chocolate. I've got bacon sandwiches for breakfast, the whole roast to include cauli cheese, pigs in blankets so plenty of cooking going on.
What I am looking for is something easy and low faff for dinner and to be honest the only thing I can think of is some sort of cold buffet thing but that can be a faff in itself, I will have to go pick up all the bits today and it creates loads of washing up and I'm in the kitchen chopping opening dispensing. Whats everyone else doing is it a case of serve up the lunch and let them survive till monday on sugar?
