I’m watching My Fair Lady for the millionth time, and swooning over the gown Audrey Hepburn wears for the Ambassador’s Ball.

It’s just beautiful.

Does anyone else have any favourites? I love Marilyn Monroe’s pink satin dress for Diamonds Are A Girl’s Best Friend, too.

Some beauties there. I’ve just thought of Gwyneth in The Talented Mr Ripley, too. What I always aspire to look like on holiday, but consistently fail.

Not Hollywood but the costumes from several TV shows like Mrs Maisel, Lydia Poet and Helen's wardrobe in Seaside Hotel.

On of my most enduring memories of fashion love was the pale blue Mary jane shoes Annie wore with her blue dress in the 1982 movie. I was about 3 and fell in love with them.

Following that, there was Liesl von Trapps dress in the 16 going on 17 clip and Baby Housemans dirty dancing dress.

I loved Liesel’s dress. If you look really closely, you can see the bandage on Charmian Carr’s leg - she fell and cut it when dancing on the benches in the summerhouse, but strapped up and soldiered on.

What about Julia Roberts’ brown polka dot dress that she wore to polo in Pretty Woman?

And Keira Knightley’s green Atonement dress…
