I just wondered if anyone can help me,
I’m currently in a housing association property but I’d like to move, am I allowed to re apply for housing and bid on other houses? I’ve never lived in a council house before so I’m not sure how it all works but as I was in temp accommodation prior to being in my current house I had to go with the first house they offered me else otherwise I probably wouldn’t of bid on the property, thanks :)

So it does very much depend on area but your best bet is a mutual exchange where you swap with someone else, it can be in a chain.
On some tenancies they don’t allow it for the first year or so. Usually the HA website will explain options but also read your tenancy agreement. Best of luck!
