When chipping and dipping... Pointy end or wide?

So when you have tortilla chips and some sort of dip... Are you dipping the point in and going at it, or dipping the straight/rounded edges?

Drawing for clarity ha ha ha

I'm point in...

Controversial opinion: depends on the dip!

Runny dip - pointy end

Chunky dip - edge

Raise you a further question... lightly salted or flavoured dipping chip?!

PS. Love the diagram - very good!

Indeed! You're playing the game beautifully!

Thick dip, edge.

Runny dip, pointy bit.

Couldn't agree more! Lightly salted for me so as not to overpower the taste of the dip.

100% yes!

I sweep your salted chips off the table and present you with ... Sea salt and lime.

With salsa yes (and mine is chunky) or pebre. But not for any of the cream-based dips...

Any edge works for me

I went through a big hummus phase recently, think I might have put myself off for life. Any replacement ideas?

Baba ganoush

I load as much as possible on a straight edge. When I get down to the slithers and crumbs, I tip them in the dip and scoop out with my fingers. I do not share dips.
