I got my dog after my baby was still born at 38 weeks. We’ve never conceived after that, She’s honestly the reason I’m still here on this earth today. She was the runt and ironically bought because our other dog was 11 and slowing down. They’re both still here and she’s 7 this year, he’s 16.
2 weeks ago she had emergency surgery for eating plastic (great)! She came around quite quickly and started to be more like herself in the last couple of days
. However she has not been amazing in the last couple of days,She started being sick on Tuesday morning and couldn’t keep water down. Took her for a walk this morning and she collapsed, I had to do rescue breaths to get her breathing again, Took her via taxi to Cheadle vets and they did bloods. She had a temp of 40.8 The vet gave her an anti sickness and some calpol so got a taxi to my husbands work to get the car, gave her the calpol they prescribed at his work. Got her in the car and she collapsed again, couldn’t stand up, couldn’t walk straight so I picked her up and ran into the vets when she checked the blood results she is septic.
She’s currently on fluids at the animal hospital nr us who thankfully are taking our insurance and doing a direct claim. I feel sick. Please keep Her in your thoughts and will her to get better. I can’t lose her I really can’t
