And fear it's my low standards?
Over the weekend I complained that he is on his phone constantly. He is and tbf to him, often it's to look up something we've been taking about or something we want to do, but once then phone is open, he'll check messages and SM etc....
I also complained that when he comes to mine he just wants TV on, so although we spend a lot of time together, we're not really "together" and barely speak.
So, last night he came round, went into the kitchen to make the tea and left his phone there all evening. Then we sat chatting on the sofa for a full 45 mins before he said "shall we watch the news". I could see it was taking a mamouth effort (the TV more than the phone) but he did it.
And he never once pointed out that he'd taken note of what was said and made an effort, he just did it....
