Raising a Safeguarding incident involving vulnerable adult

I have found out that my vulnerable adult child and friend (whilst on a course) were alone with someone who has been to prison for sexual assault some years ago.
This person was not connected with the course but worked in the place where the course was held.
The course was run by a company that supports ND adults in various ways and is big in my area and has connections to LA.

Myself and the other parent are going to question this with the company.
Should we include anyone else at this stage?
Has anyone got any advice please?

Not an expert but wouldn't it depend on whether the conviction is spent and if they are still on the SOR? How long ago was it.

I was about 7 years ago.
We are going to contact the organisation to see what they say, they may not be aware.
