Ebay insufficient postage

I ordered a textbook through ebay. When I received it I had to pay an extra £3.50 because the sender didn't pay enough. I paid £2.70 postage when buying the item.

I'm wondering is there anything I can do about this? Shouldn't the seller have to pay the extra? It's not much money but it doesn't feel right that I had to pay extra

Contact them and give them a chance to resolve it first. I had this and the seller was most apologetic and refunded the cost of the item.
