GS keeps weeing himself

Ds is 7 he's recently been diagnosed with autism. The thing is he wees himself all the time. He does things like wrap a blanket round himself then wees. He will lay on his bed wide a wake and wee its not because he's distracted or overly into something. This is a few times throughout the day. He knows how to use the toilet and does.

His mum asked him why he does it. He says because he doesn't want to get up.

He does not wee himself at school.

Any ideas or suggestions?

The put him in pull ups when outside of school and start having consequences for every time he does it.

If this were due to his needs or something else then that’s different but he is making a choice to do this and needs to be treated like any other bad behaviour he makes a choice to do.
