Minor disappointments

My local supermarket sells boxes of 8 mixed chocolate eggs, 4 cadburys caramel and 4 crème eggs. I love the caramel ones and the kids prefer the crème eggs so I bought a box with my shopping. Made a cup of tea and went to have a caramel egg with it only to find I’d bought a box of 8 crème eggs. So disappointed not to have my caramel treat.

What minor disappointments have come your way recently.

My local Co-Op does a box of 2 caramel, 2 original and 1 white. I wish they'd do a box of just white and original, I hate caramel.

I’d happily swap all 8 in my box for your two hypothetical caramel.

I also dislike the caramel. Luckily has a family member who loves them

Minor disappointment. I forgot to place a
bet on the Grand National

I once bought a bottle of cherry Pepsi Max. Only when I opened it and took a drink, I discovered I bought raspberry flavour instead. So disappointed. It wasn't nice.

DH messaged me a few weeks ago to tell me he'd bought a bottle of the new cherry Dr pepper for us to try, put it in the fridge even made some ice. Took a sip that weekend and thought oh how disappointing it really doesn't taste of cherry, looked at the bottle it was the the regular zero stuff

You've dodged a bullet there, the cherry one is minging.

I've tried it since and liked it!

Raspberry Pepsi does not sound nice at all.

And I always thought Dr Pepper tasted like cherry cola, so interested to see the difference.
