Help me get a printer!

I need to buy a printer asap. Can anyone recommend one that is cheap, readily available and most importantly, a doddle to set up please? My laptop is a Microsoft Surface if that helps.

What kind of things do you want to be able to print? Do you need colour or just black and white? What's your budget?

Not photos or anything, just documents really, so I guess black and white would be fine. Something around the £50 mark?

Any £50 printer will be totally shit and the ink will cost a bomb. They are priced so they make their money back on the toner and will fleece you accordingly.

You'd be better off putting that 50 toward printing at a shop or saving for something worthwhile.

Cheapest half decent black and white laser printer is about £150.

Also don't ever buy an HP! Even if you had £1000 to spend.

Personally I would avoid inkjet, now that laser printers are so much cheaper to buy and run.

I would consider this one for £99 or this one for £89
