Bought a car from Cinch?

Any good? Looking at getting it delivered to our house and part exchanging our car. There’s a 14 day guarantee so we can send it back if we don’t like it. Seems a bit mad to me but the trust pilot reviews look quite good.

Yes. Just after the pandemic. Was absolutely fine. Car replaced now because it got old and wanted a hybrid but I had no problem at all. Just be aware that it’s 14 days cancellation but there is a mileage restriction.

Yes. And my neighbour. We bought on finance, she bought cash. Both cars no issues at all, really pleased.

I did. Part exchanged my old car and got a new one delivered. They were fine, took old one away and gave me agreed price - no issues. There was a minor fault with the new car after a couple of months (jammed petrol cap) but cinch paid to have it fixed at the dealer.

Yes during/just after the pandemic when there was a shortage of second hand cars of the sort we wanted. It was fine. I don't love the car... but that isn't Cinch's fault just that DH and I have very differing opinions on what we like 😀

Not me but I know someone who has and as far as I know they've had no problems

But obviously it depends on the car itself, Cinch dont have cars specific to them, they are the same cars you'd buy anywhere, not connected to each other in any way

I'd ask for experiencea of people who have had issues and how they dealt with them, that's the important question

LondonPapa · 08/04/2025 14:30

I bought a car from them once, nearly new with only delivery miles. The issues were there from day-2. Fought tooth and nail to get them to fix it. Took 6-months and a lot of stress. Never buying from them again.

Both of our cars are from Cinch. No issues. Gave us agreed price for old cars and took them away. Cars have been fine so never needed to contact them though.

Yes. I would just advise you to check EVERYTHING in the 14 day period. I had electric windows and mirrors that didn't work, the back screen demister didn't work and when I took it to my local garage for their option it needed new brake pads, the wheels realigned and something else I can't remember right now. TBF Cinch agreed to do all the work but at a garage the other side of town which was a complete faff to get to for me so I returned the car. They gave me £1,000 off another one as an apology and the 2nd one has been fine.
Try to avoid buying towards the end of a month as car tax applies from the start of a month.

Thanks for the experiences so far! Useful. DH is very keen but a tad impulsive…!

Twice. Both times excellent service and cars both in great condition and still going strong. One we have had 3 years, the other 2. A Fiat and a Honda.
