I seem to spend a bit of time each day either silencing notifications or unsubscribing from from emails. Wondering if everyone else gets frustrated or if there is some big button I need to press.
The one that tipped me over the edge today was a second request to review a product. It was a bad impulse purchase, wasn't worth the money and took ages to get here but I don't want to review it in case they think I want to engage with them. Another email from the delivery company of said product asking for a review.
Then I tell YouTube that, once again, I don't need a push notification to know what's "trending" and I don't know what gave you the idea I was interested.
Then dismiss all the ring doorbell notifications and because the internet is so bad on my area these are mainly me, leaving the house an hour ago.
Then after all of this my poor attention seeking phone will just make something up. "Do you remember 4 years ago when you took a photo of the dog?" " What about last week when you tried to get a good photo of DD and instead got 8 sh*t ones? I've made a collage! Have a look!"
This is why the phone just goes away for hours at a time nowadays.
