Absence fine timescale

How long after you returned from your term time holiday did it take for the council to send your absence fine? We've been back 5 weeks and still haven't received it. Son missed 5 days and it was definitely unauthorised by the headteacher. We are in West Sussex. Thanks

A few months. We thought we had gotten away with it🙄1 day off,100% attendance and £120 fine 😡

We went away in September and received the fine in January.

The fines for the previous term are issued at the beginning of the next one. I expect you’ll receive yours at the start of next term, so after the Easter break.
