Digital marketing -scam?

I’ve been seeing loads of people on TikTok selling digital marketing saying they’re making a fortune. Is it a scam? I mean, I’m sure it is but does anyone make enough money to live off really?

Any digital marketers out there who can give us the honest inside view?

It’s essentially a pyramid scheme, and how successful you are depends on how many friends you trick into it,

I’ve just gone back to work after maternity leave and 2 mum friends I met on maternity leave fell for it after seeing a woman on tiktok saying she had made 100k in 8 months, “all you have to do is buy x to get started- usually £400 currently on sale £175” bargain! They bought it, Miss 100k gets their £175, their first month they both managed to convince 2/3 friends to buy it from them so THEY got the £175 from those sales, so they then got to post “£400 in first month!!!!”, since then… £0

I wouldn’t want to get any friends onboard so I don’t think it’ll be for me then.

It’s a scammy pyramid scheme. Stay well clear.
