Can anyone find me an iron with a stainless steel sole plate?

They seem to have vanished off the face of the Earth!

I don’t want a “non-stick” stainless steel sole plate.

I don’t want a ceramic sole plate.

I don’t want some patented “easi glide” technology.

I just want an iron with a shiny stainless steel sole plate like all irons used to have.

WHY don’t they exist any more???

I once worked in a posh house and there was a full time ironing lady and she used a non-steam iron with a stainless steel plate and a spray bottle.

Prefer steam iron, but I don’t really mind.
I have a lot of ironing to get through every week.

I suppose the trick is making sure they are non-stick as well.
