Amazon Music Help me Cancel?

There must be some way of cancelling this? I got billed £10.99 today for a single account it is a joke. It is proving impossible to cancel my subscription I go round forever in circles.

Does anyone know how I can cancel it and who I can complain to about their shady practices? DO NOT JOIN THEIR SERVICES they used to be easy to pause or cancel but the greedy fuckers are making it impossible now. I want to keep basic Prime just no add ons but I'll delete the whole bloody lot if necessary.

Are you on the website, it's often easier to do these things on the website not the app

This happened to me! I tried every which way to cancel, going on the help pages, round and round in circles. It was a nightmare. I did manage it in the end but I can't remember how, I think I went on the website.

I tried the website but I think it keeps opening the app on the phone. I'll try on the PC tomorrow but it really irritated me.

Definitely try the website, a lot of account things are often on there rather than the app, I have also found this with other subscribing services which is difficult if you only have a phone. It should be in the drop down list of 'accounts and lists' in probably music subscriptions but there is also prime or membership subscriptions. I don't have music so not sure which one.

Go into settings on your iPhone, it’s just under your name and where It says Apple iCloud and plus more. Go on there and you will see subscriptions straight away. It will say active, click on it and you can cancel it there. Good luck, took me ages to work that out.

It must depend how you signed up because mine isn’t in my Apple app Store subscriptions.

• Click on your name on the top right banner
• click on Your Membership & Subscriptions
• You’ll see a list of all your subscriptions to music, prime etc with buttons to cancel or manage your subscriptions

My Amazon Music shows in the list as ‘Amazon Music Standard’ even though I’m subscribed to the full service - you have to click ‘Amazon Music Settings’ to see what level/price you have

How did you get on OP? Prompted by this thread I was determined to cancel Amazon music having tried and failed miserably a few months back. I found out I had subscribed via my Firestick (well 2 yr old grandaughter did by accident whilst dancing to Shake It Off) so had to go to firestick settings to cancel. Finally £10.99 a month better off and I cancelled Audible too. I don't know why it is not more straightforward.
