Short break uk holiday insurance for 89 year old mum

My sisters and I are taking our elderly mum away for 4 nights - about an hour away from her home. Holiday home is set up for disabled and very expensive but necessary. Mum has paid the hire charge. Have been looking into travel insurance for her in case we have to cancel at the last minute due to illness. Holiday company will not reimburse in such an instance. Quotes are over £100 for 4 nights! Can anyone recommend where to look for a cheaper option please?

I don’t know if you can get insurance for your mum, UK travel insurance doesn’t cover medical anyway.

however, make sure that you have full insurance for the whole party if you or one of your sisters have an issue that causes you to need to cancel the event.
