I remember last year making a hair appointment to get my hair done. In the run up to it I did tell my work because sometimes they call on me to work extra and I was just telling them in plenty of time that I am not available for such a such date or something other morning. In the run up to that appointerment, there was so much dickerey chopping and changing my hours and schedule and it was looking unlikely I was going to be able to make my hair appointment. I did get into it in the end but there were many days I didn't even know if I should be cancelling but it was an appointment that I needed too.
Another time, in the run up to another appointment, my mother had a senile outburst and that appointment was also looking unlikely.
I decided from there really to never ever tell anyone else ever again when I make appointments and to my appointments lieing through my fucking teeth. Claim dentist appointments or something anything else.
Just got my thinking are people envious if you spend a little time on yourself with an appointment here and there.
I made an appointment for a tattoo a few weeks ago and I knew to keep it a secret and tell noone. In excitement last week I did let it slip and lonand behold my work starts dicking me around this week increasing the work hours and even chopping and changing my days.
It's just so odd. These are regular kinda of appointments and in future I will just have to keep things quiet and attend in secret and it really feels like some sort of a dirty club or something.
Anyone else experienced the same where you have to make secret appointments and attend in secret?
