Inspire me! DS is 18 months but can’t walk yet although he’s still very active. We have a few errands to run at the shops but nothing else planned.

Unfortunately we don’t have a garden although there is a communal field/woods. I’m sick to death of the local park, as lovely as it is!

Do you have a library with a kids section? He could crawl about and look at some books?

Have a bus/train adventure? Just go a few stops along and find a new playground and cafe.

A bus trip is a nice idea- thank you! We’re obsessed with singing the wheels on the bus over and over …

Whilst you’re out, buy a tube of bubbles to blow for him when you get home. Or one of those weighted balloons so that he can sit and play with it without it blowing away.
I always used to take DD to the local garden centre as she used to like looking at the rabbits/hamsters/guinea pigs for sale. They don’t have these anymore, but still have a huge collection of tropical fish, a small playground and lovely cake!

Local swimming pool?

Garden centre is a good shout. There’s one nearby that has a fairy trail so I’ll save that idea for another day- thank you!
