Recommend me a shelf stable cake

I have a CS scheduled for early May and I'd like to bring a birthday cake to have after the baby is born.

I have gestational diabetes so have been feeling very deprived in pregnancy!

I have thought about doughnuts but a birthday cake feels more fitting.

I'd usually buy a fresh cream cake from one of those dodgy looking bakeries that look like they're laundering money but actually make pretty decent cakes, but obviously I need something that we can pack with the other snacks and not have to worry about fridges etc.

I like fruity cakes and DP likes chocolate, but I'm free l very open to anything except things that contain peanuts or walnuts due to allergies.

I don't want to spend loads, but equally I don't want to just grab something from Lidl.

Any recommendations would be much appreciated.
