Duinrell

Hi, I’ve been thinking about booking Duinrell next year for me and the kids but I am looking for opinions from people who have been on whether they enjoyed it?
Is it better to book through euro camp or directly on their website? I’m not sure what works out cheaper.
I like how you get access to the theme park and there is a cheap supermarket near by so hopefully it will be a budget friendly holiday.
Thanks in advance

We went years ago and had a fab time. I have friends who go every year.

We went Eurocamp but there’s lots of different companies there, so shop around. We drove there also.

The theme park is next door, and you can just wander in and out. We used to go first thing and later on in the day, when it was quieter. There’s also a good pool complex.

It’s also a good base to explore the surrounding towns and villages. Amsterdam is about an hours drive (park outside and catch a train in).

We went years ago and loved it. My now adult kids still say it was the best holiday.

Wewent last year. We booked direct and very early to choose the place we wanted. My kids are 9 and 11 and absolutely loved it. There was plenty to do. We did a day in Amsterdam and cycled to the beach a few times. We did plan a day in eftling but never ended up going as duinrell was enough. We did 8 days there. A few days near another town and then 4 days at Beekse Bergen which was fab too.

Been twice, sometime ago now but booked through eurocamp as cheaper option. Went with group of friends and kids about age 9/10 and to this day they still mention the holiday 😊

Surrounding area lovely, short walk into Wassannaar and beach long walk or
short drive away.

Bus into Leiden which is like a mini Amsterdam.

definitely recommend

We went last year. Loved it. We booked direct but I noticed that prices for this year have gone up. You get some free vouchers for the pool if you book direct, amount based on the number of nights you stay. I think if you have 3 kids who’ll go to the pool every day then it could be cheaper to book direct otherwise Eurocamp and PAYG in the pool cost less. There’s an ice cream shop in the village (Luicianos?) that’s v good. Am going back there just to eat hazelnut ice cream and sit in the sunshine.
