Anyone know Dublin hotels? The Westbury, Grafton or somewhere else for a nice city break?

Looking to book a weekend city break. Want the hotel to be central, safe and the room, pretty/romantic. Must do breakfast too. Birthday gift for my adult daughter and her other half. Debating either The Westbury or The Grafton. Any insight?

The Westbury - gorgeous.

My personal favourite is The Merrion, right opposite the Dail.

Sorry not stayed in either but did stay in Staunton on the Green recently and loved it. Quite small but great breakfast, friendly staff and beautiful rooms.

The Westbury or The Merrion both have fantastic reputations. Hope your daughter has a fantastic trip!

Westbury is lovely as is the four seasons at Ballsbridge

The Shelbourne is fabulous and great location.

The Westbury over The Grafton but both nice.

I've stayed in both and I agree, but there's really not a lot in it. Both are excellent.

Thank you everyone! We went for the Grafton as for the same money as the standard room at The Westbury, we got her a terrace suite at the Grafton. The room looks stunning and it still seems like a lovely hotel and very central. Hope I’ve made the right choice. It’s obviously a gift and this room just looked a wee but special.
