Soooo tired!! 🥱😴💤 Usually takes me a good week to adjust to the clocks going forward or back.

Same!

Fluffyflipflop · 01/04/2025 22:06

Yes! I feel exhausted today.

Littlebittiredoflife · 01/04/2025 22:09

Feel exhausted and hungry an hour earlier than usual even though the clocks went forward. I really hate it, feel groggy too.

TheChosenTwo · 01/04/2025 22:10

Barely noticed it to be completely honest, don’t have young kids anymore though; I definitely noticed it when the kids were young!

Evenstar · 01/04/2025 22:10

Same and know others feeling the same

GCAcademic · 01/04/2025 22:11

I’m fine when the clocks go forward, but out of sorts for weeks when they go back.

LlynTegid · 01/04/2025 22:11

I am affected more by the clocks going back, though that does not negate other people's feelings this week.

The discussion should be about whether to have GMT or BST year round, the current system is dated.

HearMeSnore · 01/04/2025 22:13

Yep. I always have to take Nytol for a few days at this time of year.

BlueRidgeMountain · 01/04/2025 22:13

I’m also tired with the added bonus of being pissed off because I can’t remember how to change the clock on either my car or the microwave. Yes I probably could Google but then that’s just adding to the already massive to do list and I resent having to do it in the first place! We’d all feel much better if they just packed in with the clocks changing!

IncaAztec · 01/04/2025 22:16

Same...I fell asleep on the sofa with exhaustion earlier!

mrsfollowill · 01/04/2025 22:18

I struggled to go to sleep last night and lay awake worrying about life for an hour then nodded off and slept through. Still had to get up at 7am for work when my body thought it was 6am 😣
Hoping to sleep better tonight as a result- going to sleep is one thing I never normally struggle with now the hot flushes of peri are behind me. At weekends I can sleep 10hrs + if I've nowhere to be.

slippersandfleece · 01/04/2025 22:30

Yes knackered. Feeling a bit hard done by re Mother’s Day lie in, that was cut short by an hour.

LikeWhoUsesTypewritersAnyway · 01/04/2025 22:32

Not even slightly! Which is odd because I usually am! Takes me a fortnight to recover usually. I think it's because of the unusually bright, sunny, glorious days we have been having. (Unusual for March anyway!) It may have affected me more if it had been grim, dull, and damp.

I just wish the clock changes would stop. Not sure what the point of it is now. It just makes
people feel unwell/ tired and the numbers of road kill animals lying on roads goes through the roof. The whole thing is rubbish.
