Easter Science gcse revision courses

I’ve been looking at MyEdSpace online Easter revision courses (triple sciences) for my son who is in year 11. He’s doing higher AQA. Has anyone done these courses? My son finds all the sciences very difficult and got 4s and 5s in his mocks. Is it worthwhile doing these courses or are there other recommended courses that will hopefully give him the boost he requires.

Can't help on revision courses.
However if he got 4s and 5s in mocks, should he maybe be doing Foundation tier? Or does he need 6s and is still thought capable?

Anyone?

I have no advice, but if your son got 4s and 5s why is he not doing the foundation paper?

Yr11 parent..... living the dream with revision at the moment.
My DS is borderline 4 / 5s. His school said unless you are getting 5s easily then you would be sitting foundation.
My oldest DS in gcse stage found bbc bitesize and educake the best online sites.

The majority sit the higher paper at his school. He’s in grammar and placed in the middle set so he’s deemed capable to do the higher papers.

Could you try him at home with online foundation and higher and see how he feels.
I'll be glad when these exams are done.
My DS is stressed, I'm trying to stay calm.....

He’s doing practice higher papers at home and doing well on the topics he’s revised so far but not good on what he hasn’t. Retention of what he’s learnt in class is terrible! I also can’t wait until
its all over. It’s a stressful time for them. Roll on the the summer….

Yes..... I have the last exam date circled on the calendar!
A few things that helped my oldest DS with revision..... he would make notes then have spider diagrams on topics.
Go over and over practice papers.
He had 2 revision guides and would randomly answer questions on different topics.
Used bbc bitesize.

Hope that helps.
