Can’t catch a break from viruses

I literally have not had a virus-free day all year and had a fair few in the autumn. Autumn wasn’t great either. Anyone else waiting to catch a break?

I've a new virus every week since Christmas . I'm also 27 weeks pregnant and I'm exhausted from being sick 😫 the joys of a child in preschool !

Convelesence - where you basically try to get as much rest as possible - is neglected these days but so important

you don’t need a clean house, if kids can’t get somewhere themselves they don’t go , telly watching is ok, idle weekends , don’t iron, minimal housework , the garden can go to hell , if the kids are in bed do to bed yourself

diet - veg and fruit and fruit and veg

Fresh air , sunshine and a short walk every day

Be grateful that your viruses only last a week. I am old and it takes me 2-3 weeks to throw off any kind of virus. I get about 1 a month, donated to me by my lovely DGC.

By the time I'm even some what recovered though I've a other one on top of it 🤣 so I'm on the end of coughing and sneezing and then I start with a tummy bug 🙈 I'm just permanently sick and exhausted

Is this an exceptionally bad year? It feels like illnesses have intensified. I know schools and nurseries have always been germ pits, it just feels like it’s getting progressively worse.
