Do you remember Scrapheap Challenge?

Robert Llewellyn is trying to make a new updated version called Zapheap (not an ideal name I don't think because my brain keeps trying to make the 'ph' into an 'f').

I only heard about it recently and it's a long, long, long way short of the fundraising target needed to make the pilot episode, but I'm going to keep my fingers crossed as I really used to like Scrapheap Challenge.

I've been to where it was filmed. Coincidentally, not as a pilgrimage

I do hope it comes back. It would be a welcome change from the reality shows and 'talent' shows which are all a bit dated now. I loved some of the eccentric characters who could turn their hands to anything.

Ah I loved that programme! It was great fun to watch.

I've just bought a cap from the kickstarter fundraiser, putting my money where my mouth is, but I don't hold out much hope as they are a long way short of what they hope to raise.
