£2.80 euro millions win

So I didn't win the £200m jackpot over the weekend but won £2.80. Such a random prize figure. Why not £2.50 the same value as the ticket, or just round it up to £3.00.

I won the same, got an email saying I'd won a prize, the disappointment when I saw 2.80 was horrendous 😂 i put it on the lotto Saturday night and won sod all

Such a random prize figure isn't it. I mean even if I invested it into another ticket £2 lotto or £2.50 euro millions then I will still have to be given some 80 or 30p from the shop cashier. Maybe I should do it online so I don't have to go through that.

I also won £2.80 and thought the same!

Is that a prize for three numbers then? I got two numbers. Doesn't seem to be much of an uplift from 2 to 3 numbers in prize money.
